The Love Hope Strength Foundation--Love Hope Strength is an international charity with chapters in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and South America dedicated to providing all cancer patients with access to information, quality cancer treatment, and the best medication available. Through innovative, music related, outreach and awareness programs such as Union County MusicFest, Everest Rocks and Peru Rocks, LHS provides critical funding for cancer centers worldwide. Co- Founded by two-time cancer survivor Mike Peters of the Welsh rock band, The Alarm, and leukemia survivor and President of CSI Entertainment, James Chippendale, the Foundation supplies much needed testing and treatment equipment to cancer centers around the world. The 2007 trek and concert on Mt. Everest funded the first mammography and internal radiation machines in Nepal. More information is available at www.lovehopestrength.org. The Valerie Fund--The Valerie Fund is a local
not-for-profit organization established in 1976 in memory of Valerie
Goldstein by her parents. The Valerie Fund's mission is to provide support
for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood
disorders. With its origins in New Jersey, today there are seven Valerie
Fund Children's Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders in major hospitals in
the tri-state area, providing caring and comprehensive health care to
approximately 5,000 children and their families each year. More information
