6th ANNUAL WEST ESSEX YMCA 5K
THE EVENT
Who says a July 5K has to be hot? Not us! This race is going to be so cool you might need your mittens. Lots of water, ice, sponges, “cool” food and a post race water balloon contest. We’ll even turn the hose on you.
The course is flat, residential and mostly shaded. The companion 2 Mile Walk and Kids' Run make it a must to bring the whole family. The shirt and other amenities will be ultra cool and it’s really easy to find us. In 2005, over 400 joined us for a fun filled summer morning. Our numbers keep growing, and we hope you will join us.
So find your shades and get ready for a great race and a cool time at the 2006 West Essex YMCA 5K.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Garden State
Parkway—Exit 145 to Route 280 West. Take Exit 5A onto Livingston Avenue
(becomes South Livingston Avenue.) West Essex YMCA is 2 miles ahead on the
left.
From Route 78—Merge onto Route 24. Take JFK Parkway Exit (Short Hills Mall)
toward Livingston (eventually becomes South Livingston Avenue.) West Essex
YMCA is 4.5 miles ahead on the right.
