6th ANNUAL RAMONA’S RUN--A Holiday 4 Miler The First Grand Prix Event of 2008
THE EVENT Holiday lights, historic landmarks and the waterfront of Raritan Bay await you at the 6th Annual Ramona’s Run in Perth Amboy. The twilight 4 mile event celebrates the holiday season with a festive atmosphere, good cheer and fun. In 2006, over 400 joined us for the fast times, great food and seasonal celebration. Runners will be treated to a fast, scenic course combining flat stretches and rolling hills. Ramona’s Run is rich with amenities including a post race buffet and party featuring ethnically diverse foods. So come join us on December 29th. DIRECTIONS: From North via NJ Turnpike: to exit 11...follow signs to Rt 9 (2nd right after jughandle) ...Follow signs for Smith St/Perth Amboy. Follow Smith through the central district. Right onto High Street. City Hall is one block up to left of circle. From South Via NJ Turnpike: to exit 10...follow signs to Perth Amboy to first Perth Amboy exit (Crows Mill Rd/Smith St). Exit to right. Bear Right at Fork and continue through Smith St past the central district. Right onto High Street. City Hall is one block up to left of circle From West Via Route 287: 287 South becomes 440 North. Follow signs to Perth Amboy to first Perth Amboy exit (Crows Mill Rd/Smith St). Exit to right. Bear Right at Fork and continue through Smith St. past the central district. Right onto High Street. City Hall is one block up to left of circle. From South via Garden State Parkway: to exit 125 (Route 35) ...follow Rt. 35 North. Go over the Victory Bridge to Smith St. Make Right onto Smith St. and follow directions above. Ramona’s Run is named in honor of Perth Amboy Mayor Joseph Vas’ mother who lost her battle against Alzheimer’s disease. While not fully recognized or understood, this disease has touched the lives of millions of Americans. The proceeds from Ramona’s Run are dedicated to Alzheimer’s care and research.
